Public Notice Regarding the Emmanuel Ebot Mbi Foundation

Following the passing of Emmanuel Ebot Mbi Jr. on February 26, 2024, in Potomac, Maryland, the Estate would like to clarify the status of the organization known as the Emmanuel Ebot Mbi Foundation.

Although Emmanuel Ebot Mbi Jr. intended to establish this foundation, the process was never completed during his lifetime. Any activities currently conducted in the name of the foundation are not authorized by or affiliated with his estate unless expressly announced by the duly authorized representative of the estate.

Concerns have arisen regarding the handling of funds and the use of the foundation's name to solicit donations and communicate with public officials. These actions were undertaken without the authorization or approval of the estate.

Accordingly, the Estate of Emmanuel Ebot Mbi Jr. does NOT accept responsibility for any donations made to the Emmanuel Ebot Mbi Foundation or for the receipt, management, or disposition of any funds collected in its name.

Until further notice, the public is strongly advised not to make donations or provide financial contributions to any individual or organization claiming to represent the Emmanuel Ebot Mbi Foundation without first verifying its legitimacy through the authorized representative of the estate.

The estate is committed to preserving Emmanuel Ebot Mbi Jr.'s legacy with integrity and transparency and appreciates the understanding and cooperation of the public.
